I thought this was interesting- Luke 21:34- "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares."
"Surfeiting" - "the giddiness and headache caused by drinking wine to excess" So there you go. Another word for hangover ;o)
Genesis 38- it's amazing to me the double standards that existed even in biblical times. So far ago, yet it's about the same as today!!
