Jan 27 Luke 20:1-26; Genesis 35:1-36:43; Psalms 27
Gen 35:2- "Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: " So did Jacob know the state of Rachel's heart? I wonder how much time lasped between when they got back to when the incident with Dinah happened. My wheels are really turning on the Rachel ordeal!
Psalm 27:10 "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.", this verse makes me think about foster care, and how the Lord provides for abandoned children and poor children whose parents put their own needs above those of their children.
v13-14- "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." AMEN!
