Hey -- just so you know, I'm not dead or gone or anything. I'm switching internet providers and have been offline for almost a week now.
I'm still reading (just on paper), and when we're all together again, I'll go through and at least check the days that I've read the passages for on the Christianity site. Then I'll start commenting most days again :)
Luke 20:34-38- So there's no marriage in heaven? I have heard people speak of this before but never noticed the implication of this passage before as to that question. Did I read that right, no marriage? I wonder what the relationships will be like in heaven. Gives you a new take on "til death do you part".
Genesis 37- this is a true lesson in parenting, especially regarding favoritism, but even more than that- how we must be careful in how we raise our children because they will inherit our parenting tendancies most likely. I say Joseph's story is a direct result of what Rebekah done to Esau and Jacob in how she plotted between them and played favorites. kwim?
Psalm 28:7 - "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." AMEN!!
Amy I'm glad you checked in. I was thinking about you. It's been crazy here so I'm behind myself, catching up a little each day. I posted an update on my personal blog here, I just had a thought as to whether you knew about that one ;o)
