    Luke 18:18-43; Genesis 31; Psalms 24

    Genesis 31
Gen 31:43 "And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, [These] daughters [are] my daughters, and [these] children [are] my children, and [these] cattle [are] my cattle, and all that thou seest [is] mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which they have born?

What happened to leave and cleave? Is it because they were originally Syrian the father could still claim their daughters and grandsons as their own even after marriage?

Did Rachel not share Jacob's faith? Is that why she stole the idols to take with her? It would seem as if by doing that she was trying to look back, like Lot's wife done. I wonder why God did not deal with her about that? Does he? Am I not remembering?
