One of Jackson's favorite subjects is Science ... that and History. I have been pondering the idea of getting some supplementary material in those subjects for him to work with over the summer to keep him busy. Maybe like the 4th grade homeschooling materials, ya know? Something that is from a Christian perspective, something he did not have this school year.
Christy done a review on Apologia, and they have some Zoology science books. That is right up his alley.
